Appeal for Witnesses After Tewkesbury Hit-and-Run

Police in Tewkesbury are appealing for witnesses after a cyclist in the town was the victim of a hit-and-run.

The 47-year-old woman from Grayston Close, Mitton, had been cycling along Church Street around 7.30pm on Thursday, January 25 when she was knocked off her bike by a dark blue car.

Staff from a nearby veterinary clinic came to the woman's aid and she was taken to hospital where she was treated for facial injuries and a broken arm.

Anybody with any information on this incident is asked to call police on 0845 090 1234 or crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 quoting reference 42 of January 26th.
