Posted: 13/02/2007 20:40:28

Two people have been charged following a protest at the Atomic Weapons Establishment (AWE) in Aldermaston yesterday (13/2).

Ian Mills, aged 41, of Little Englands, Chippenham and Julia Gigliotti, aged 49, of Sherbourne Road, Southampton have been charged with unlawful obstruction of the highway.

They have been bailed to attend Newbury Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 22 February.

Three women, aged 43, 18 and 66, were given adult cautions.

A 17-year-old girl has been bailed pending further inquiries.
