Police To Meet With Stonehouse School Students

Posted: 20/03/2007 16:58:55

Stonehouse police will be holding a special Police Community Consultative Meeting (PCCM) with pupils of a local school later this month.

Officers will attend the meeting at Maidenhill School in Stonehouse between 12.20pm and 12.55pm on Monday March 26.

The event, which has been timed to coincide with the pupils' lunch break, will give students an opportunity to discuss any policing issues they may have with local officers.

"We will have a quest speaker on the day talking to the students about police stop and search procedures, " said Insp Eric Moore of Stonehouse police.

"Otherwise it will be an opportunity for youngsters to ask us any questions they might have and to discuss local crime issues."
