Re-Appeal For Witnesses To Injury Crash In Stoneho

Posted: 29/05/2008 17:27:31

Police in Stonehouse are renewing an appeal they made for witnesses in relation to a collision that occurred between a 12 year-old girl and a car on the morning of Tuesday May 13.

The girl had been crossing the High Street in Stonehouse at around 8.35am when she was in collision with a grey Peugeot 206.

Following the crash the girl was taken by ambulance to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital, where she was initially treated for minor head injuries.

However, the girl’s condition worsened and she was transferred to Frenchay hospital in Bristol, where she remained for several days.

The girl has since been released from hospital and is back home with her family.

Anyone who witnessed the collision, who hasn't already spoken to police, is urged to contact officers in Stonehouse on 0845 090 1234, quoting incident number 85 of May 13.
