Centre lends helping hand to Santa
Posted: 03/12/2009 16:30:18
Herefordshire Council’s customer service staff at the Bromyard Centre have been asked by Santa to help him out this year by collecting letters from local children with their Christmas wishes.
All children need to do is write a letter to Santa and take it into the Bromyard Centre, Cruxwell Street, Bromyard, and post it into the magical Christmas post box. Santa has promised to send back replies that can be collected from the Bromyard Centre on December 18, 19 and 20.
Children are also invited to join staff at the Bromyard Centre on December 18 at 10.30am for the festive story time special and magic winter wonderland pictures.
There is still time to enter the children’s competition to “Decorate a Christmas Tree Bauble” being run by Tourist Information centres throughout the county.
Children will be able to collect a bauble from the Bromyard Centre anytime from Friday, December 4 until Saturday, December 12. Once decorated and returned to the centre judging will take place at mid-day on Saturday, December 19, with a small present given to each entrant. The winner of the competition will be given the opportunity to visit Santa in his grotto or to attend the performance of a Christmas pantomime. There will also be a Christmas themed Bounce and Rhyme story time at the Kington Centre, Bridge Street, on Monday, December 14 at 10.30am.
