Fairford Steam Rally
The Fairford Steam Rally is an annual event held in Fairford Park, situated a few minutes walk from Fairford Town Centre. The Rally in 2004 was the 36th Rally.
This is a very traditional Rally and attracts thousands of visitors over the two days, from all over the country. There are hundreds of exhibitors with Vintage & Veteran Vehicles, Tractors, Bicycles, Motorcycles and Steam Driven Vehicles. Displays and parades in the two arenas, a fairground with both new and old rides. You can also buy items from the many tradestands which sell most things.
St Mary's Church
St Mary's Church in Fairford contains one of the country's best displays of medieval stained glass. In fact, the church is unique in that it contains a near complete set of medieval windows.
