Fall in love with becoming a PCSO

Posted: 06/02/2007 14:00:02

Thames Valley police will be encouraging people to fall in love with becoming a Police Community Support Officer when they visit Marlborough next week.

PCSO Ray Breach and PC Tim Offer will be in the Market Place on Valentines Day (14/02) between 8am and 3pm, handing out information and speaking to people about the role.

The day is part of the ongoing PCSO recruitment drive.

PCSO Breach, based at Newbury police station, said: “So far we have had a really good response to the recruitment drive, which has resulted in a high number of suitable candidates.

“If you are looking for a career which is as rewarding as it is challenging and where you have the ability to really make a difference in people’s lives, become a PCSO and see where it takes you.

“The best tip I can give, if you’re thinking about becoming a PCSO is come and speak to us and have a look at what we do.”
