Dursley Fitness Suite Opens

Dursley Sports Centre’s fitness suite opens its doors to the public next Tuesday (22nd May) after a £30,000 facelift.

The Venue Fitness Suite now boasts state-of-the-art Cybex cardio-vascular and resistance machines along with freshly painted walls and new carpeting.

"This is welcomed by both customers and fitness instructors," says

Centre Manager Angela Gillingham. "With the new machines, customers will see new programmes, challenges, more personal trainers and the opportunity to develop their own personal fitness goals."

Members of the Venue will have special access to it from Friday and throughout this weekend. "They have shown great loyalty to the Centre" says Mrs Gillingham. "We wanted to thank them by giving them the opportunity to try out the new facility and get used to the new equipment."

A small official opening will take place on Monday 21st May. Members and invited guests will be able to take a look at the new equipment, try it out and then join the staff for a soft drink and a light buffet.

From next Tuesday, free inductions will be on offer until the end of June for those people who would like to take advantage of the new facilities.
