Criminal damage series

Posted: 10/01/2008 20:09:52

Police are appealing for witnesses after a series of criminal damage incidents against cars in Hook Norton in the early hours of Saturday morning (5th January).

At around 1.45am, a man walked along Bell Hill and the High Street, and kicked wing mirrors off five cars.

The man has shaved hair and was wearing jeans and a dark black jacket.

PC Phil Morris, Hook Norton’s Neighbourhood Specialist Officer, said: “Considering the time of the night this happened and that Hook Norton is quite a small place, I believe that someone in the village must know who committed this crime.

“His pointless act of vandalism has left five victims of crime in its wake and if we can find the culprit he deserves to be punished for this.”

PC Morris can be contacted via the Police Enquiry Centre on 0845 8 505 505.

If you don't want to talk to police and don’t want to leave your name, call the Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.
