Bromsgrove PACTs

Posted: 10/04/2008 20:02:47

Speeding is among the priorities at two forthcoming Bromsgrove PACT (Partners and Communities Together meetings).

Stoke Prior PACT takes place on Monday 21st April at 7pm at Stoke Prior Village Hall.

The priorities at the last meeting on 21st January were speeding on Wheatridge Road, youths gathering in the alleyways in Stoke Heath, and dog fouling in Stoke Heath.

Whitford’s PACT takes place on Thursday 24th April at 7pm at Millfields First School.

The priorities at the last meeting on 24th January were speeding in Rock Hill and criminal damage in Rock Hill.

Also on Thursday 24th April at 8pm is Cofton Hackett’s PACT at Cofton Hackett village hall.

The priorities at the last meeting on 22nd November were overgrown hedges and verges in Groveley lane and Ten Ashes Lane, a large amount of leaves in Groveley Lane and Ten Ashes Lane, and the need for grit bins to be maintained and filled with fresh grit and better gritting in the village.

Updates on these issues will be given at the meetings.

PACT is an opportunity for members of the local community to say how they want their local area to be policed and to bring concerns about quality of life issues to the attention of the police and its partner organisations.

Local residents are invited to attend and put their concerns to officers.

Those who cannot attend the meeting but want to find out more about PACT or contact their Local Policing Team can do so through West Mercia Constabulary’s website on www.westmercia.police.uk
