Evesham Police Under The Spotlight

Evesham Police will come under the spotlight at the town's Riverside shopping centre on Saturday, 3rd May.

Between 10am and 2pm, the public will have the chance to meet and talk to a range of officers - Sergeants, Local Policing Officers, Community Support Officers and Special Constables.

"We see this as a great opportunity to talk to the public about what we do and to get feed-back on how they perceive us," said Sgt. Phil Stayte.

"Part of the event will focus on recruiting Special Constables and anyone interested will be able to learn exactly what is involved in this volunteer role," he added.

The display - which will also be attended by the Evesham Neighbourhood Warden - will include a Panda car and a number of give-aways, including balloons.
