Yellow Umbrella Day

Yellow Umbrella Day is Chiswick's largest annual charity festival and will take place this year on Sunday 20th September 2009 at Chiswick Park (opposite Gunnersbury station).

Now in its seventh year, Yellow Umbrella Day is Chiswick’s largest annual charity event and Chiswick Park’s celebrated community festival.
We will be raising money for 3 childrenīs charities. The Log Cabin, The Shooting Star Childrenīs Hospice and The Kidīs Cookery School.

At the event there will be live performances from So Blondie - a Blondie tribute band, as well as local bands including Madhen and The Hanging Baskets.

Entertainment on the day will include the following: A Cake Bake Contest; Street Performers; BBQ and Bar.

For the Kids there will be the following entertainment: Pony Rides; Art and Crafts Market; Fairground Activities; Balloon Modellling; Face Painters and Giant Games.

BUT that is not all. There will be a grand prize draw with a chance to win amazing prizes, including a Litho Graph of a Disney Print, A Private Screening for you and 53 friends in Paramountīs exclusive Chiswick Park Cinema; A meal for 2 at the Chiswick Union; a Starbucks Hamper and lots more!

There will be a sponsored 5KM walk and a 10KM run that start and finish at Chiswick Park as well as a 10M Woddle Toddler Race.
