Posted: 21/10/2009 11:21:13
St Peter’s Church Hook Norton is hosting its 13th annual Craft Fair on Saturday, October 31st. The Fair has grown in size and popularity over the years and is firmly established as one of the finest craft events in the area. There will be a vast selection of high quality work, created both by traditional and modern techniques, offering some exciting ideas for original gifts.
There will be craft demonstrations during the day as well as a popular make-and-take area for children. It need not be all bustle; sit and relax over delicious refreshments.
The Fair is open from 10am – 5pm. Admission: Adults £1.50, children free. For more information contact Jan Hughes 01608 737900 When you leave the Fair, why not carry on down the hill to Beanacre where local artist Rita Wheatley invites you to her “Open Studio”. There are original paintings, prints, greetings cards and glass paintings. The Studio at Little Granary, 1 Beanacre, will be open every weekend from Saturday 31st October – Sunday 29th November between 11am and 4pm. Rita will be delighted to welcome by appointment at any other time, those who cannot come at a weekend. Contact telephone number 01608 737097
