Charity Christmas on the cards at Moreton in Marsh

Get into the festive spirit and help charity at the same time by buying your Christmas cards at Cotswold District Council Council's Moreton Area Centre this year.

Cards for Good Causes, the multi=charity Christmas card shop is open from now until December 19th at the Centre, in the town’s High Street.

The charity is non-profit making and is a joint initiative, selling cards for over 25 national and many local charities. It operates a network of more than 270 shops set up in churches, libraries, museums and community venues, throughout November and December.

There will be a large selection of cards and Christmas goods, including wrap, tags and advent calendars on sale. The shop is held in the atrium on Monday to Friday from 9am to 5:15pm and on Saturday mornings from 10:30am to 12:00 noon.

Centre Manager Sarah Cantwell said: "Sales are going really well this year. We are hoping to beat last year's total of £10,000 - so pop into the Centre and make a contribution to many worthwhile causes!"
