String Players Wanted for New Ensemble

Cornwall Music Service has announced that Truro Youth Orchestra will be re-launched on Tuesday 30th January from 5.10 to 6.40 pm.at the Old Richard Lander School.

The ensemble will begin as a string group but it is hoped, in time, to develop a full orchestra. The conductor will be Tim Boulton, an internationally renowned viola player and former teacher at Guildhall School of Music and Drama, London.

The orchestra will run during term time and string players of approximately Grade 4 standard and higher from Truro and surrounding areas are welcome to attend. Membership will be free until April, at which point there will be a termly charge of £15.
