CCTV released following Bicester attempted robbery
Posted: 15/01/2007 12:23:54
Police have released CCTV footage of a man they would like to speak to following an attempted robbery in Bicester.
Two young men, aged between 16 and 23, entered the Halifax bank in Sheep Street, shortly before 1.50pm on 20 December. They demanded money but left empty handed. No one was injured in the incident.
It is believed they made off on bicycles in the direction of Wesley Lane.
The bank is a member of the HBOS plc and they are a member of the British Bank Associations (BBA) reward scheme which may provide rewards up to £25,000 for information leading to the conviction of the offender(s).
Anyone with any information should call Det Con Nikki Smith (4731) at Bicester CID via 0845 8 505 505. Or if you do not want to speak to police and do not want to leave your name you can contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
