Assault - Bicester

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man in Bicester was assaulted during an altercation between two groups of male youths in the early hours of Saturday morning (13/01).
The incident involved up to 10 people and took place in Sheep Street at around 1.30am following a disturbance at the Penny Black pub a few minutes earlier.
One local 20-year-old sustained severe bruising to the brain, a suspected fractured skull and a fractured jaw.
PC Jody Whitehouse from Bicester Police Station said: “This lad is extremely lucky to be alive and we are keen to track down the young men involved. If anyone was in the area and saw this disturbance, or youths running away from the scene, particularly towards Market Square, then we would like to hear from them.”
